Thesera L Lifting System

The newest generation of no-needle thread lift

Thesera L Lifting System

Introduction

The newest generation of no needle thread lift which is completely safe, clinically proven and non-invasive treatment that is taking the U.K. by storm and is available exclusively at Andrea Lamport Pro Skincare!

Thesera L no needle PDO Thread Lift uses a patented TDN technology, leading the way in the future of skin care. This process creates lift based on melting (dissolving) threads. Melting threads are a THESERA L cosmetological product, developed in South Korea by specialists of MR Innovation Co. No-needle TDN solution penetrates the dermal layers via a paracellular pathway filling the area under the skin. The thread fibre in the form of liquid is applied onto the epidermis surface. The ingredients are encapsulated and moved to lower skin layers. The process consists of 5 separate stages….

  • Creation of the tunnel
  • Absorption of threads
  • Moisturise
  • Acceleration of thread absorption
  • Nourishment

After the procedure, the skin becomes visibly lifted, denser and elastic. As well as the product whitening and smoothing the facial contours and tone and shrinking pores.

What is Thesera L?

The new generation thread lift from Korea, and the results are amazing!! It is TDN (Transfer Double Nanosphere) technology forms channels into the epidermis and the threads are dissolved by groundbreaking technology so they can be applied in liquid gel form and set into the skin. Where they are captured and go deeper into the lower layers of the skin where they work in a similar way to regular threads by attracting collagen. The skin is then moisturized and nourished which further helps the threads be absorbed and over time it the threads are rebuilt deep into the skin forming a cushion. Like traditional threads (PDO thread lifts) they eventually fully dissolve with hydrolysis and work to trigger the fibroblasts to produce more collagen.

The great thing about this treatment is that it can be used over the entire face and neck, so it gets to work even in those tricky eye areas!

What are the threads made from?

The threads are made from silkworm fibroin protein known as sericin. Which is primarily used in medicine for wound suturing and tissue regeneration. It also has a natural infection resistance and is used variably due to it’s excellent bio-compatibility, and thus is commonly used as a wound coagulant as well. When used in cosmetics, sericin, has been found to improve skin elasticity and several anti-ageing factors, including an anti-wrinkle property. This is done by minimising water loss from the skin.

How does Thesera L work?

So prior to applying the threads a mild peel product is applied to open the skins channels to allow the product into the skin, by removing any sebum, surface debris, dead cells etc.

The silk fibroin protein threads are then mixed with a serum which dissolves the threads into a gel like form so they can be applied to the skin. The threads are then absorbed into the skin as nanoparticles using a cellular pathway, so they reach down to the deeper layers of the skin and rebuild back together like a cushion in the dermis. Where they help to produce fibroblasts (collagen and elastin). The full cycle takes around 4 weeks after each treatment to complete.

Next the skin requires deep moisturisation using a skin booster so that the product can seep into the skin without drying out and help calm the skin after the initial preparation stage.

A high tension gel is then applied which helps to produces collagen and allows extra absorption of the threads whilst setting them into the skin. Finally a high tension ampoule with peptide complex is used to brighten and nourish the skin, this contains natural oils and gives a beautiful glow.

When will I see the Effects?

Results will differ as every person’s body is different. The treatment allows your body to create its own collagen and elastin so age, lifestyle factors, stress, medical issues, medication and environmental factors will play a part in your result. Collagen and elastin cells take 4 weeks to fully form within the skin and will last in the skin long-term dependant on the above factors.

The initial 72 hours post treatment is critical in letting the product settle and work within the skin prolonging your results and giving glowing skin.

We recommend the following:

  • Avoid using exfoliating products or retinol products
  • Do NOT touch your skin after the treatment for at least 24 hours
  • Do NOT pick, scratch or pull the skin
  • Do NOT wash your face or apply products
  • The skin might feel tingly or sensitive allow time for this to subside
  • Redness on the skin will subside once allowed to settle.
  • Hydrate your body and skin with plenty of water and apply hydrating products which are soothing such as Hyaluronic acid based products (A small bottle is provided for you to take home or you can purchase a larger bottle for a course of treatments)
  • Avoid direct cold, heat and sun light for the first 24 hours, this includes exercising, hot tubs, spas, swimming pools, gardening, cooking over a hot stove, sitting next to a fireplace
  • Ensure SPF 30+ is applied daily (after the first 72 hours)
  • Discontinue use of any AHA products for 72 hours, or 6 weeks if doing a treatment cycle.
  • Avoid home cleaning products such as bleach which can cause irritation from the vapours
  • Use a clean pillowcase the evening after your treatment and ideally replace every 2 days for hygiene reasons

This is an amazing treatment and you should get great results, however everyone’s body is different and all results are dependent on your skin, any medications you may take, your lifestyle and homecare routine. Please have realistic expectations.
