About Me
I’m Andrea Lamport, the Owner and Director of Andrea Lamport Pro Skincare.
After having my son in 2014, having spent over 20 years as a Chartered surveyor, I realised my previous job was not a good fit for my new family. So I spent some time thinking about what I loved and how I could utilise the skills I already had.
Having been a life long beauty enthusiast I decided to embark on a new career and qualified in NVQ Beauty Levels 2 and 3. Whilst studying I quickly realised my people and communication skills were easily transferable. I loved giving the treatments and spending time with different people helping them to achieve their goals in regards to feeling and looking good.
After a short time I soon realised that skincare was my true passion having myself suffered as a teenager and again during my pregnancy and beyond with acne. This is when I decided to make skin my speciality. I undertook extra training to boost my knowledge and invested in the best equipment to increase my treatment offerings and I haven’t stopped learning and improving the clinic ever since.
I opened my home clinic in 2017 with the idea of providing discrete bespoke results driven facials to those who wanted or needed my specialist help. I chose to train with some of the most well respected and recognised brands and individuals in my field so that I could assure my clients that the treatments they received from me were the best they could wish for.
Working with various brands and has enabled me to choose only the best for use as part of my clinic treatments as well as for the home care packages purchased by clients which ensure they maintain their results in between treatments. Dermogenera, Fusion and Clinicare are pharmaceutical quality brands that are only available to professionals and offer what I consider to be the best results and the best value for money for my clients. My ethos is and always will be quality over quantity.
Since opening I have concentrated on building my skills and my client base so that I can provide a consistent and friendly approach whilst helping clients to improve their skin quality and therefore their self confidence. It is a pleasure to go to work everyday and spend time with such amazing people. Long may it continue!
